About Michelle Pujols
Michelle Aline Pujols works in both film and digital imagery. The artist prints most prints with Claria Hi-Definition Ink on archival paper. Large prints or those on gallery wrap canvas are sent to a professional lab. Michelle works closely with the lab tech to insure the prints meet her high quality standards and are truly representative of her vision. Pujols enjoys the outdoors and is touched by the spirituality of nature. Much of her work involves nature.
Growing up in New Orleans, Michelle was inspired by the lines, shapes and shadows of the city. These same lines, shapes and shadows are found in nature. Michelle draws on these to show the interconnectedness of all. Michelle’s intention is for people to stop and see the things we often pass without noticing. “if my art causes one person to stop and notice the beauty and spirit around them I am happy”. Pujols believes art ignites emotion. Each image has a different emotion or meaning for each individual. It does not matter if the image is alone tree in the marsh, a spectacular sunset or an interesting designs of shadows and light I see the web connecting all. This is my vision.
